Only a five minute walk from our Jerusalem home in the Baka neighborhood, the Old Jerusalem Train Station, after many years of disrepair, is now reopened as the First Station - a scenic outdoor and indoor venue for festivals and crafts fairs, not to mention a place to go have dinner or grab one of those Israeli micro-brews. It also may be an attempt to broker a peace between secular and religious Jews in Jerusalem. It's a tasteful open air space that looks like it may be open on some Jewish holidays, and it even had an outdoor kabbalat shabbat service last week. We made this little video just for fun.
